ABOUT THE TOUR
Welcome to the Arabia Steamboat Museum.
During your visit, you will hear the legendary tale of the loss and discovery of the Steamboat Arabia and its 200 tons of cargo. This amazing story has been featured by National Geographic Traveler, PBS, Smithsonian Magazine, Antiques Roadshow, Good Morning America, Southern Living, CNN, the History Channel and many other news and entertainment organizations.
Reservations are not required for you or your family. Visit are self-guided, with a new series of short videos that walk you through the story of the Arabia dig. Museum staff and members of the original dig team will be there if you have any questions along the way. Also, masks are required per city ordinance. We ask that all visitors keep at least 6 feet of distance from staff and guests not in your party.
We recommend 90 minutes to view the entire museum. There are no required stairs, and seating is available throughout the museum. Cameras are welcome (no flash, please). Make sure to visit our gift shop after your tour.
