Located just two blocks from I-70, I-35 and I-29, the Arabia Steamboat Museum is an easy stop to make while traveling to and from many popular Missouri tourist destinations. Fewer than four hours from Branson, Missouri, the Arabia is a favorite stop for tour operators.

Once inside, your travel clients will start their self-guided tour of the museum, with a new series of short videos that walk you through the story of the Arabia dig. Museum staff and members of the original dig team will be there if you have any questions along the way. Our preservation lab is often open for your group to learn how the many tons of artifacts are cleaned and prepared for display. You will pass beside the Arabia’s engines and boilers located on the 171-foot-long replicated wood-planked deck of the Arabia.
Bus drivers can drop off guests at the front door and park nearby. The tour is 90 minutes, and cameras are welcome (no flash, please). The museum is wheelchair-accessible, with plenty of seating throughout. During your visit, you can browse our gift shop and discover your own treasures unique to the Arabia Steamboat Museum or memorabilia of your visit to Kansas City, Missouri.
Adult groups of 20 people or more are $14.50 plus tax. A driver and escort are complimentary.
